Visitors are encouraged to book readings with Mediums. Most of the Mediums take ‘walk-ins,’ but it is highly recommended to book your reading in advance. Log onto the community’s website at www.cassadaga.org and click on the “Mediums” section to learn about the Mediums and get their contact information. There are approximately 25 medium that will welcome a person into their homes for readings, and each of the homes is within walking distance of everything. Most of the homes have a Victorian appearance to them, though a little faded and a little worn. What to expect? Just about anything.
The atmosphere in the homes is typically calm, soothing and darkened. Some of the Mediums will ask to hold your hands in the beginning to get a ‘reading,’ while others may hold a personal item or just stare into your face… into your soul. Some will allow you to take notes, while others require 100% concentration.
When visiting a Medium, have a list of questions prepared in advance. The Medium will not be able to connect you to Marilyn Monroe or Elvis, but if a relative or friend who has died needs to communicate with you, they might do so through the Medium. The typical readings are either 30-minutes or an hour. Come with cash as a number of the Mediums do not take credit/debit cards.

Once in Cassadaga, visitors can attend classes or workshops such as “Dream Interpretation,”
“You Can Read Their Past Lives,” “Learn How to See Auras,” or “Mediumship Development.”
Flyers for each even can be located in the Cassadaga bookstore. The bookstore has a plethora of
books, crystals, charms, jewelry, shirts, coffee mugs and other items. Don’t miss going in there.
Visitors can also join one of Cassadaga’s many tours. As an example, the historical walking tour
devolves into the Cassadaga’s past and spiritual activities, while the “Cassadaga Spirit
Encounter” tour is at night – make sure to bring your camera to capture orbs!
If a visitor plans to stay overnight, Cassadaga offers several accommodations. The Cassadaga
Hotel was built in 1929 after the previous hotel was destroyed by fire on Christmas night in
1926.

Cassadaga is truly a secret gem that anyone with even a mere interest in the supernatural and the beyond must experience. And in October, that’s when the spirits are extremely active. Book your trip, plan your visit, and lock in your Medium, classes and tours. This is perfect for a day trip for anyone in Florida, ideal for a Girl’s Weekend, and a MUST-SEE for the curious. Cassadaga is a “bucket-list” adventure. Yes, it truly is “Where Mayberry Meets the Twilight Zone!”
P.S. – Birds DO fly over Cassadaga contrary to local myths…
